These objects are a set of blue and purple ribbons with religious symbols and medals on them. The blue ribbon has an oval, gold medal on it with an engraving of Mary from the Christian religion. Around her figure are the words "O Marie concue sans peche priez pour nous qui avons recours a vous" which translate to "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the back of the medal is a large letter "M" with a cross above it. They are surrounded by stars and below them are two hearts with crowns on them. This medal is known as the "Miraculous Medal."

There are also two purple ribbons with golden stars embroidered on them. They also have round, golden medals on them containing the words "Congregation des dames de Ste. Anne, Lawrence Mass. 1885." This translates to "Congregation ladies of Saint Anne," which was a women's club associated with St. Anne's Church. One side of the medal has an engraving of a woman sitting on chair with a young girl standing in front of her. The other side contains an engraving of Mary, Jesus, and a man with a beard. They all have halos around their heads.

These ribbons were meant to be worn around the neck.
