Summary: The narrator describes his work for Lawrence Redevelopment Authority, most of the time as property manager, especially in the Common, Bradford, Franklin, Amesbury Sts. area. To "create a marketable re-use parcel", they had to take everything in URBAN RENEWAL, the good with the bad. He describes both good and bad housing. Businesses were hurt the most. The residential part, the Bradford Apartments, fell into decline. There was success with the industrial parks.
