Essex County Community Foundation and Merrimack Valley General Fund

On Thursday, June 10, The Lawrence History Center had the pleasure of hosting the Essex County Community Foundation ( ECCF) award ceremony for the grants funded through the Merrimack Valley General Fund (MVGF). All of the awardees attended to accept their checks and, more importantly, to personally thank ECCF Board members Patricia Karl and Peter Caruso and also Julie Bishop, vice president of ECCF.
This MVGF award will allow the History Center to provide summer employment to several Lawrence students.
We are very grateful to ECCF and the review committee of the Merrimack Valley General Fund for providing this assistance to the History Center.
