This book belonged to Gerard A. Guilmette (b. October 22, 1911 – d. March 27, 1982), Alderman of Health and Charities from 1954-1965 and State Representative – 13th District, Ways and Means Committee from 1964-1978. The Guilmette School is named in his honor.
