This book describes the founding and work of the Protectory of Mary Immaculate in celebration of its Golden Jubilee (1868-1918). The book describes the history of the Grey Nuns and the work the organization has done locally for the orphans and the elderly of the City of Lawrence. There are several black and white photographs and local advertisements.
