This book gives a detailed description of the first hundred year history of the Grace Church in Lawrence from 1846 to 1946. It gives readers an understanding of what the parish was to the community and how it helped the citizens of Lawrence. The parish visited and comforted the afflicted, educate the young and cared for the poor. The book also highlights certain activities the Grace Church participated in. It goes into detail about the choir and its own history. There’s a description of the church school and how it was run in those hundreds of years. There’s a brief description of the Grace Church Monthly, which is piece of writing that is meant to record important church events, describe what goes on in the church, as well as give the Rector an opportunity to make suggestions about the church. The book also contains an overview of all the societies that have been involved with the church. Towards the end of the book the history of church memorials and some of their recipients are written about. It even gives the names of everyone who received a memorial. At the end of the book there’s a list of members apart of the clergy, wardens, treasurers, clerks and a roll of honor for those that participated in WWI and WWII.

Overall there is some wear on the book. There are small smudge marks around the front and back cover of the book. The spine is weak in the inside of the book.
