Book

A history of Lithuania starting with a description of it's geographical location (between Germany and Russia), and physical characteristics - a land of lakes, rivers, and forests, not far above sea level. Lithuania's history appears to have begun before 1500 B. C., and expanded their lands between 1200-1450 A.D. This historical recap ends with the Third Reich domination of Lithuania. The book continues the description of the hunting and farming assumptions of Lithuania through the Crusades to the 1200s. The book goes on to describe the Lithuanian experience under Russia, the politics of Lithuania and Poland, and the arrival of Germany's Third Reich. The book also describes the religious history of Lithuania, starting in approximately 500 A.D.
This book is not a 'straight line' history of Lithuania - from topic to topic, the timeline will go back to the beginning of known history.
