Oral History Interview with Audrey Iannazzo LaFrenier
Accession No.

Audrey was interviewed by Christine Lewis on June 27, 2017 at Adele's home in Methuen. Here is Christine's description of the interview:

"On June 27th I was fortunate to interview Lawrencian Adele (Iannazzo) LaFrenier about her experiences growing up in a large Italian-American family on Maple Street. Adele’s memories of the Seven Church Visitations on Holy Thursday, the home assembly lineproduction of Guandi’s by the bushel and impromptu neighborhood accordion concerts left me wishing I could book a spot on the next Time Machine. Adele is in center right in this wonderful Iannazzo family portrait. At the dinner table, Adele said her assigned seat was between her two younger brothers so they would refrain from poking one another. As a young, modern woman during World War II,Adele rode the weekday train to her job in Boston with three close female friends. She was a fan of fine clothing and as evidenced by the solo picture of her, she wore them well. A Lawrence Linda Darnell! Her scrapbook is full of pictures of friends and family enjoying summer at Salisbury Beach."
