This is a book surrounding the life of one Edward S. Kennedy, son of Irish immigrants and former citizen of Lawrence prior to his death in 1969. The book is a photo collection of Edward’s early life, his military service during WWI and his family life after the war, all compiled by his granddaughter Patricia A. Maurice. The book, much like another book created by Patricia about her father Robert A. Maurice, creates a narrative of Edward Kennedy’s life by mixing photocopied pictures of him with descriptions of these pictures given by Patricia. The end of the book states that most of the information about these photos was derived from Edwards’s wife after his death, and this information was not compiled until this book was created in 2019.
