A black and white photograph of the buildings at the intersection of the north side of Methuen Street at Mill Street, looking east. There are storefronts on Methuen Street - One business sign says 'Electric Fixtures, Wholesale Prices', but no business name is identified. The storefront on the corner of Methuen and Mill Streets also has no sign, but has a signboard in front advertising ice cream. A 'Pillsbury's Best' sign is painted on the side of the building, and a man is sitting in the storefront window. Brick residential buildings line Mill Street, and there are two granite 'horse hitches' on Mill Street. A man is leaning on one of the horse hitches. Utility poles are visible in the picture, and a streetlight is hanging in the middle of the intersection. The streets in all directions are cobblestone. A mill building is shown at the end of Mill Street.
