This book was used for many years in university classes in social economy and training of social workers. The purpose of Social Economy " is that each one shall be able to live as nearly as possible a normal life according to the standard of the period and the community." On the inside front page is the signature of Myra H. Church, who was the Executive Secretary of the Lawrence City Mission in the 1940s.
