Summary: LoPiano & Sons, a variety store, was located at 68 Lawrence St. It was started about 1934 and run by the narrator's father and uncle. The family lived in apartments over the store. Eventually the building was taken for Urban Renewal. The narrator's home address was Oak St., a reflection of the fact that the building was at the corner of Lawrence and Oak; it also had Hy-Grade Market as a tenant.
