Summary: The narrator graduated from Holy Rosary School in 1937. The girls and boys had separate classrooms. They were taught by the Notre Dame Sisters. In keeping with their Italian heritage, the Venerini Sisters came in to give them Italian lessons. They were marched to church on Fridays for Confession, and on Sundays they all sat together in church. They were even in uniform at graduation, as all the girls had the same white dress and hat.
