Summary: Linda Zimmerman succeeded Rejeanne Keeley as the director of Neighbors in Need, a food pantry established in 1983. She explains the model for the organization, with eight distribution points set up so that people will have to walk a half mile at most (half of the recipients are not driving). Much of the food is collected from area churches. She explains the role of food bank distributors, from which she also gets food. The types of food are also detailed.
