Summary: Father Waters is the pastor of St. Mary -Immaculada Conception Parish. The information on the early pastors and history of the parish was drawn from the 150th Anniversary Book, a copy of which he has donated to the Lawrence History Center. He tells how the Immaculate Conception Church (now demolished) was used by the growing Hispanic congregation, who eventually moved to St. Ann's (which was renamed); eventually both groups became united and worship at the same church. He details his own part in this transition during his time as pastor.
