Summary: Mr. Vo was born in Saigon. He served in the Vietnamese Army from 1961 - 1975. He was "jailed" for 5 years and 6 months. He was freed only when the U.S. and the Vietnamese governments signed an agreement. He will never go back. Because he was an officer, his children would not be able to study or work. They are working and studying in the US, and the youngest is going into nurses training next year.
