Comments: Herta Stern came to the United States with the advancement of the Nazi party in Germany. A smaller version of the hosiery mill in Germany was started in the Everett Mill. The original business was a cottage industry begun by her widowed grandmother. She details the effects of the Holocaust on her family, including four who committed suicide in Holland. Marum Knitting.
