Summary: Mr. Petzy's grandfather was among those children who were sent to Barre, VT during the Strike of 1912. He remembers very little about him, but identified him in the photo in ICA files. He tells of fires at the Oxford Paper Mill, St. Mary's School Fire, Frank C. Meyer fire (see film of this V94/59), Bucket of Blood Fire. The family had land for farming in Pleasant Valley.
