Summary: Nassar Ford's beginnings go back to the 1930s when the narrator's father had a gasoline station at the lower end of Essex St. A representative from Ford convinced him to leave a car on his lot, to be paid when it was sold. Eventually his father got a dealership. Today the Nassar Ford dealership on South Broadway is four acres.
