Summary: The narrator lived at 4 Auburn St. until 1956, when his family was forced out during Urban Renewal. He tells how the Lebanese community and members of his family began moving out (particularly to the Glen Forest section of Methuen) after WWII. His father was adamant that he did not want to leave. The narrator describes the closeness of the neighborhood during his youth and the eventual deterioration as people moved away. Eventually, the family joined others in the Glen Forest area.
