Title
Garbelnick, Julia (Dublin)
Born: July 1898
Died: March 1996
Ethnic Background: Lithuanian Jewish
Interviewer: Yildray Erdener
Comments: The narrator recalls her memories of the Strike of 1912 and the hardships of the people. Her father was a tailor, and not directly involved, but his business fell off because people didn't have money for clothes. She mentions how thin and malnourished the children who were sent away appeared. Her feelings are adamant about the name "Bread and Roses", a poor title for such a horrid time in Lawrence's history.
