Summary: Anthony attended Oliver School (1 year). He worked in mill in 1915 - various positions - wool sorter - Pacific , Wood, and Washington Mills. Unlike Strike of 1912, many Italians did not strike in the 1919 strike. He worked at the Wood Mill for 36 years. He helped organize the union. In 1956 he went to work at Grieco Bros., then Avco. His opinion was that mills closed because of bad management, not because of the union. Recollections of Father Milanese: friendly with mill owners, strict, accepted money from mill owners.
