Summary: Mrs. Eastwood worked as a secretary to two men who published "The Booster", a magazine of the American Woolen Company, that reported events, announcements, etc. of the employees. It received information from designated persons at each of the 54 mills of the AWC. She frequently took letters from Mr. William Wood and considered him a personal friend. *Editor, Howard O. Frye assisted by D.F. Daly (former Tribune employee). Mrs. Eastwood noted that the term "bread and roses" was not known to her in relation to the Strike of 1912. Her father, Edward Devlin, served on the Lawrence Council in 1866.
