Summary: Fr. Duperry was an Army Chaplain with the rank of major when he was released. He served at the Normandy Invasion. His memory is failing and his narrative is repetitive at times. Nevertheless, his reasons for enlisting at 40 years , and the experience he recounts (including a story about the "Red Ball Highway") make this a very interesting interview. Rank: Major.
