Summary: Eddie Dube was a private in the Army from May 24, 1944 to December 21, 1945. European Theatre of Operation; Rome, Arno, Rhineland, Central Europe. Decorations: Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Victory Medal and European African Middle Eastern Theatre Campaign Ribbon. Outfit: 44th Infantry Div., Company F, 114 Regiment, 7th Army.

This tape has distortion. It has been checked out on two machines and a "good" tape was used as "control". The problem seems to be that the tape was defective. Doing a transcription is a top priority.
September 23, 1997 - Pete Roy has resigned as an interviewer. He had been going to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks in the transcription that Anne O'C left when she couldn't understand a word. This becomes a volunteer project.
