Summary: Rank: Corporal 8th Air Force, 635th Air Material Squadron attached to 466th Bombardment Group. Mr. Ciambella worked in Davis and Furber until his enlistment - he was stationed in England for 3 years. He was in charge of property on the base and was assistant manager of a PX although he wanted to be a gunner. There was bombing every day. He tells anecdotes about Spam, the PX and 2nd Lieutenants and a German paratrooper. After his discharge he was a shoe hand sewer for 24 years.
