This cookbook was compiled by the Greater Lawrence Y. W. C. A.. It contains recipes for Hors d'Oeuvres, party and T.V. snacks, soups, salads, vegetables, miscellaneous, seafood, rolls-breads, casseroles, one dish meals, meats, poultry, recipes from foreign countries, cookies and candies, cakes and frostings, pies and pastries and desserts. There is a calorie counter at the back of the book which gives a specified amount of food and its corresponding caloric amount. There are charts throughout the book explaining measurements in addition to depictions of various cuts of meat for pork, beef, veal, and lamb.
