Comments: Bongiorno's grocery store is one of the few remaining stores on Common St., a street which was once lined with stores. Frank and Virginia Bongiorno keep in touch with other families who had businesses on the street, e.g., Zappala's of Tripoli Bakery, Pappalardo's of Pappy Bakery, Armanos specialty Italian foods. Mr. Bongiorno harvests wild mushrooms and collects books on same.
