A publication geared to students that was a product of "a cooperative endeavor of the Public schools of Newton, Massachusetts, the Business History Group of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education." The aim of the project was to integrate economics into a secondary school social studies curriculum. This short publication uses the J.P. Stevens Company as a case study for students to examine history, economic decisions and their impact. Contents include: The Stevens Family of North Andover; Production Begins at Andover; The Era of Moses T. Stevens, 1865-1907; J.P. Stevens and Company in the 20th Century and a bibliography. 33 pages. Inside front cover is an article from dated 1/76 from the Lawrence Eagle Tribune entitled "J.P. Stevens is the object of a boycott."
