A Selection of Humorous and Pathetic Incidents from the Life of Sammywell Grimes and His Wife Mally
Written in Yorkshire dialect (a form of English spoken in Northern England), this collection of humorous short stories tells the adventures of two fictional characters Sammywell Grimes and his wife Mally.
Though there is no direct Lawrence connection, in January 2016 the Collections Committee decided this book must permanently remain in the collection due to its rarity and value.
