Title
Anti-Semitism and Emotional Disorder
Subtitle
A Psychoanalytic Interpretation
This book represents a study undertaken by the American Jewish Committee. It uses the psychoanalytic method and evidence to create a relationship between anti-semitism and emotional disorders. It discusses the methodological approach to the study, as well as the ways in which data was collected. It creates a clinical picture based on the information about patients given by many different doctors. Primarily discussed are the emotional factors that make it more likely that someone will become anti-semitic, other genetic causes, and social/group pressures which may cause people to express prejudice.
