Sincere gratitude for a Historic Preservation Matching Grant ($2,250) from Preservation Massachusetts, in partnership with The 1772 Foundation, Inc., an Essex National Heritage Area Partnership Grant ($2,000), and unrestricted funds donated by its supporters, Lawrence History Center has just completed the historic preservation of the exterior bulkhead and sole entrance to the basement of the Essex Company Warehouse!
Much appreciation goes to Buddy Latham (Sylvan Property Management) for his care and exceptional craftsmanship in bringing back this important structure at 6 Essex Street, Lawrence.
