The Lawrence History Center, during the COVID-19 shutdowns in 2020-2021, captured stories of our community coming together in times of crisis. Our project, "Remote Oral History: Physically Distanced. Socially Connected.", allowed people to make personal, human connections when they most needed them and also helped to highlight the lives of community members in a way that reflected the current reality.
Participation methods include a brief 2-minute story and/or a full-length interview via Zoom.
Prior to participating in this project, please complete our REMOTE ORAL HISTORY AGREEMENT FORM. You will then be redirected to the instructions page.
Thank you!
